A B2B client was trading directly with a print supplier, but did not have the technical print market knowledge to challenge decisions on the most efficient of machinery and print method plus the resolution of quality issues was becoming a significant problem, leading to a strained relationship, wasting management man hours.
Contrac were appointed as the client’s print management supplier, becoming the single source supplier for all their operational, promotional and marketing print requirements. This single point of contact supply has meant Contrac handle all technical queries and make the most efficient choice of print method for individual products, by utilising our varied supplier base.
Furthermore, because of previous supplier limitations, the client was having to store, pick, pack and distribute their own catalogues – absolutely not a core activity and wasting many man hours. Contrac have taken the storage, picking, packing and distribution of the main mailings and future call-offs in-house at our 9,000sq ft facility, releasing their own staff to concentrate on promoting their business and servicing their end user clients.
